Scrap Metal - Riverside Casino - January 24th, 2015

The weekend of January 24 - 25th, 2015 was an "All-Star" weekend.  On Sunday the 25th of January two major sports had their all-star games, or "extravaganzas" if you will.  The National Hockey League was first up on that Sunday with a score that was more reminiscent of an NFL game which is interesting just for the fact that they had their own all-star game the same day.  The neat thing about "all-star games" is that the players have fun during these games and that is really all its about isn't it?

The first day of "Halfway Jam" started like any typical first day of a music festival.  With a beautiful day looming and first day jitters of the attendees a typical start was assured.  What every music festival has is surprises but when the surprises make a big impact it makes everything more fun.

As the lights went down in the city (okay, a cheap Journey reference sorry) and the lights began to raise on the stage of the Mississippi Moon Bar in Dubuque, IA a lone man with an aqua guitar took the stage.  Kip Winger was his name and he was there it make his presence known, but did he?
