What if... What if there were a performer that came from a small town in Iowa, belonged to a couple of "super groups" and has sang lead vocals for a legendary rock band and he released a new EP, do you think he would be interesting? What if I told you this same guy recorded music with some of the biggest names in '80's heavy metal and he is as humble as a dove? And what if I were to tell you that he is as big a talent as there is in music today? Would you want to hear more?
Music. The one thing that has been a constant in my life, and this is a reflection of my musical tastes, opinions, trivia and well quite frankly, rants. Music is in all of us, this is merely my journey.

Devil City Angels - Debut Album
For some time now I have been talking to people about a band that I saw for the first time in 2014 at a place called "Catfish Bend." I began talking about the skill of this band and the pedigree that follows it and while I would mention that I promised them that when the band released its first album they would understand. Would I be right? To paraphrase the old adage "the Devil is in the details."

Everything around us goes through some type of iteration. The moment something happens is an iteration in the cycle of whatever you are doing. Whether it be putting gasoline in your tank (that instance is an iteration of the act of putting fuel in that tank) or brushing your teeth (that is an iteration of removing the goop from your pearly whites) they are both iterations of the status of objects. Cheap Thrill - Summer's Last Blast August 22, 2014
The end of summer can be a depressing time for many. While the end of summer signals the end of vacations, and many outdoor recreational events, it also can be the start of many great things. The end of summer signals students of all ages going back to school, the start of football and the impending MLB playoffs and it also allows the opportunity to get in a "Cheap Thrill" or two in.
